Who we are

DAMA RentFinder is a car rental broker in Oman. We are not a rental company and we do not own the cars. We work with local rental companies, compare what is available for your dates, and connect you with the right one.

Requests and reservations

Sending a request is free and does not guarantee a reservation. Our team checks availability with the rental company before confirming. Your booking is only confirmed when our team tells you so.

Details and photos are provided by rental companies. We work to keep them accurate, and we confirm the final car details with you before you collect it.

Who can rent

Drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving license. We may ask you to show your license and identification when the car is collected. You must give accurate details in your request.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Omani rials (OMR). Full rental periods are charged: a day, a week (7 days) or a month (30 days). Extras are charged separately. You see the full price before you send your request.

No payment is taken on this website. After your request is confirmed, our team explains how to pay and any deposit before you collect the car.

If a price shown on the website is wrong or has changed, we will tell you before confirming your booking, and you can decide whether to continue.

Deposit, insurance and use of the car

Deposit, insurance, mileage limits, driving outside Oman, off-road driving, fuel and the driver’s responsibility for fines or damage depend on the rental company and the car. We explain these conditions before you collect the car. Please read the rental agreement before you sign it.

Pick-up, return and delays

We currently serve Muscat only. Pick-up and return times are in Oman time. Our team coordinates the exact meeting point with you. Because full rental periods are charged, returning the car late may increase the cost according to the rental company’s terms.

Changes and cancellation

Conditions for changing or cancelling a booking depend on the rental company and are explained when your request is confirmed. If your plans change, contact us as early as possible by WhatsApp or phone.

Your responsibilities

You agree to give correct information, to use the car lawfully and carefully, and to follow the rental company’s rules and Omani traffic laws.

Privacy: what we collect

We collect only what we need to review and manage your request:

• Your name and contact details, including your phone and WhatsApp number
• Your birth date and driving license number
• Your rental details, such as dates, car, and special requests
• Technical visit data: your IP address, approximate country and city, the pages you open, your browser type and the website that referred you. We use it for visit statistics and website security.

How we use and share your information

We use your information to check availability, confirm your booking and contact you about it. We share the details needed to arrange your rental with the rental company that provides the car. Only authorized staff can view requests. We do not sell your personal information.

If you choose to receive WhatsApp updates, our team may send booking messages to your WhatsApp number through WhatsApp (Meta). You can ask us to stop these messages at any time.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your request only as long as needed to manage your booking and meet our legal obligations. You can ask us to correct or delete your request by contacting us. Some records may need to be kept if the law requires it.

We remember your language choice on your device so the website opens in the language you prefer.

Visit statistics records are deleted automatically after 12 months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Using the website after an update means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
